FINANCIAL PLANNING AND TAX

People choose to hire a financial planner because of the complexity of handling one’s own finances, and to help them make intelligent financial choices all along the way.
A financial planner helps individuals set and achieve their long-term financial objectives through investments, tax planning, asset allocation, risk management, cash flow management, education planning, and retirement and estate planning.

With input received from the client based on his or her needs and goals, the financial planner creates a plan customized to a client’s specific situation. He or she decides which investments would be appropriate under the present economic circumstances. A financial plan can be a budget and/or a plan for spending and saving future income. This plan distributes future income to various types of expenses, such as mortgage payments, taxes, and insurance, and also reserves some income for short-term and long-term savings.  Furthermore, consulting with a financial planner when divorcing, retiring, inheriting funds, or going through any life transition is important when deciding how best to allocate assets and debts. This allows the client to adjust more easily to life changes, set aside sufficient funds for taxes, and feel more secure.
